Cassandra & Eric

our story

We both grew up in Oakville - same town, same circles - but somehow never met. That finally changed at Christmas 2024 during the Cooper pub crawl, when we ended up chatting over drinks at The Martini House. From there, we headed to the Kings Arms, where Eric ordered a smoked Manhattan complete with a glass-encased show. The Arms has come a long way...

Our first date turned into five in a row. Eric even cancelled a Florida trip, and we spent every day together, including NYE, before Cassandra flew back to New York. A few days later, flowers showed up, and we were already planning our first trip. After Banff, weekends in NYC, and way too many airport runs, we made it official. Things moved fast, but it all just clicked.

After 10 years in New York, Cassandra finally moved back home - closer to family and ready to build something lasting. It was a no-brainer and the happiest decision we’ve made. We’re both focused on our businesses, but we’ve always made space for fun, family, and friends - and from day one, being together just felt natural.

On the same weekend we started dating - Eric proposed by the fire at his family cottage in Muskoka. It took an hour to shovel our way in through a snowstorm, and a few more before Eric finally caught his breath to pop the question.

When we found our dream venue in the Bahamas, the only date available was that same weekend. Felt meant to be. Now we’re counting down the days to three unforgettable days of love, sunshine, and good times - surrounded by our favorite people.
